I have a 98 Accent. I'm looking into painting some of the interior trim. But I can not figure out how to remove the vents for painting them. I don't see screws holding in. The Chiltons manual is very non-informative to this type of stuff. I hope I don't have to take the dash off:eek:, that would be too much. If they pop out, that'll be cool. But I am hoping some one has done this.

Thanks,
R~

P.S. I have the charcoal interior color, do you think I would need to put a primer on the pieces. I want to paint red or more like a blood red.

Aw Man !!!....thats not what I wanted to hear....lol. It figures. I was looking at the vents lastnight and 2 were removable, but the center and the LT & RT main vents are screwed into the dash from behind and not only that, they are screwed back towards you....Grrrrrr ! I'll look into it. I've got a couple of fans around, maybe a shop vac sucking air as well.

Thanks.
