HEY GUYS, I AM THINK I AM GOING TO BE PURCHASING THE NEW 2003 TIB, PROBABLY IN THE NEXT 2-3 WEEKS. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IS A NEW EXHAUST FOR HER, I HAVE BEEN HEARING SOME REAL BAD NEWS ABOUT THE FACTORY ONE AND THAT IT IS VERY RESTRICTIVE. WHAT IS OUT THERE THAT I COULD USE, AND ARE WE LOOKING AT ABOUT A 20HP KICK OR WILL IT BE MORE.

If it's the same as the 2nd gen tiburons then you might want to start with your intake and take out all that plastic s#@t, like resonators, filter box and replace it with a cone filter or better yet get a CAI!

That should improve "her" breathing.
Cheers!

if you're buying the tib... get the gt, at which point the factory "dual" is very restrictive....for less $$ then you'd pay for an aftermarket exhaust system, you should go to your local muffler shop and just replace your pipes and muff's, you'll get a a [email protected] load more hp, and spend a lot less money, with a better dual job, and a CAI you'll be looking at 200-210 hp at the crank, a new ignition system on top of that should put you at 220 hp at the crank, and combined all of this should run less than $500.

I recommend less caps for one thing

Other then that. Right now its all custom stuff. Harass the boys at www.sharkracing.com to bring out their CAI, Headers and exhaust for the 2.7L.

I m not sure what Kore has up their sleeves right now.

Once I get my hands on my GS-R I'll do a thorough search. Don't be surprised if AEM comes out with one two

our full system for the v6 is on the water floating towards the USA. it is a fully stainless steel dual systemm manufactured to our specs in korea for us spec cars. we wil have photos and pricing very soon. no intake until someone has a car i can use..... then theirs is free.... we already have coilovers, strut bar almost done needs a trial fit also..... short shifter also needs a trial fit soon, and we are looking at our own lowering springs for the street.

interesting

maybe I should make my Tiburon fully Kore aftermarket parts

Only thing I would be missing are headers to go with the exhaust system.

Dan, is the short shifter for the 6-speed?
Strut bar...is that for the I4 and/or V6? Cause couldn't you just buy the strut bar for the GT or GS-R that is provided by Hyundai?

all the kore exhaust products are ade to fit the factory counterparts so the header will fit the factory exhaust and the exhaust will fit factory front, no header yet but it is being worked on. we need some good drawings and photos to make sure of a few things first... there is a photo of the v6 exhaust on our forums i think under spy photos in news area

thanks

more items soon for new tib including turbo for 4 cyl ( summer 2002)
