Lets have some of our tuners out there post their Dyno results and give a list of the mods you have done. I'm not interested in what you plan to do...just what you have to show for what you have done. If you have both WHP and HP ratings it would be nice, let the posting begin!

Any of you that have a dyno slip or time slip, email it to me and I'll put it up in your car profile.

BTW...
Here is my latest 1/4 mile results..
<img src="http://www.fxtreme.org/members/Cottonmouth/eugene+meslip.jpg" border=0>

My time is the one on the left.
It was really hot that day (40C) so I figure that under normal conditions I would be seeing a time closer to mid to high 15's.

It was the best run I had all day. Not just because I won, but because it was such a close race with a another fellow black first gen Tiburon owner.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

That's an awesome time. You should work on the reaction time. Would definately put you in the 15's.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

The R/T has nothing to do with the 1/4 mile time. I could sit there for 10 seconds and still run the same 1/4 mile time.

So I'm told...<img src=/images/forums/snitz/oogle.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

I thought they did include reaction time. I figured they timed the car <b>and</b> driver in the final 1/4 times. I'm not saying I'd bet my life on it but it makes sense to me to include it in the final time.

Still, it's nice someone posted times.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

I believe the 1/4 lile time starts as soon as your front tire breaks the beam. There are optical sensors that help you stage. As you creep forward to the start line the yellow light start lighting up. When they are all lit then you know you are there. Then you just have to wait for the christmas tree to count down. A R/T of 0.500 is what the pro's race at. I had an R/YT that day of something close to that and was quite pleasd with myself. Yoy don't wait till you see the green... You punch it on the last yellow.

My car then was lightly modified with a 2.25" stailess catback from MBRP, '93 Civic OBX-R CAI with K&N cone filter, and platinum spark plugs. I was riding on my stock 15's with a fairly new set of Bridgestone Potenza's.

We weren't allowed to drive through the water on our way to the burn out box for some reason... I don't know why. So we ended up going around it.

I found that after about 5 runs my clutch wasn't grabbing as it usually does. It was getting hot and I think my times were being effected by it. So I think that a stickyer clutch would definately help those 1/4 mile times.

Anything else you would like to know?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
