The pricing hasn't been released yet, but expect to pay around $21K for the fully loaded GT.

Where it's your first car however, you might be better off insurance-wise going with a 4-cyl 2003 Tiburon.

What about if I just want to 2.7L and 6-speed... nothing else extra?

If you had a ballpark that would be great.

Umm..I don't think it would be a good idea to get a v6 181hp car for your first car. Plus your insurance is gonna be out the ass anyways since you are in the 18 and under catagory. When I was 18 my insurance was more than my car payment. When I turned 19 it dropped $70 a month.

The dealer near me told me it would be around March for the 2003.

Hm.. I heard at first it would only be about 2k more for the base then the current base.. But some guy at Fxtreme posted a brochere or something for the new Tiburon.. Its base comes loaded... Heated mirrors, remote keyless, fog lights, CD player, dual exhaust (even though it's not a true dual exhaust I heard) all on the base... So i'm guessing it's gonna be a bit around 17k... The higher option Tib will have a bigger engine and a different trans and leather seats, ABS, most likely a better cd player and stereos. But since the engine is bigger and has the luxury accesories. the price is gonna skyrocket up from the base. Like how the celica base is 17k it's GT-S is a huge jump up to around 23k. Sure you can buy yourself a celica with the money you need to buy a Tiburon, but base Celica comes stripped, nothing on it, just to get the power package, that is the power windows/locks, it boosts celica's price to 19k.. Also I see celica's every block every day. Tiburons... I see if i'm lucky 1 every month.
