iam changing the rear wheel cylinders in my girlfriends 2000 accent. i got everything loose except for the brake line. I couldn't get that one to move. I noticed on the new part that the part where the brake line hooks into is different. it has sort of a male end and it looks like the brake line has to overlap it. the original looks like the brake line goes into a hole in this part that sticks out the back of the wheel cylinder. did the part store give me the wrong part or is there something i don't know? hopefully this makes sense so i can finish the job.

From what I can gather, you are replacing the wheel cylinder's on the rear brakes.
Here is what they look like:

Now, for a 2000 Accent (without having your VIN number to verify Manufacturing date) the part numbers you should be using to replace the cylinders are:
58330-25000 for the Left side
58380-25000 for the Right side.

at least, those are the part numbers from what I can gather for a Canadian spec car.
