ok every where I go in town to get the good crimp connectors, the ones with a rubber outside, not hard blue yellow or red plastic they are not to be found. Looked on ebay, couldn't find them. Where do stereo shops get them from? Thanks and I need some good 8 gauge stuff too for a friends system install that I am going to do

You can try either a hardware store like Home Depot, or go to place that only sells electrical supplies. Should be able to find something in your yellow pages under "Elctrical." <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

ok, yah Home Depot only sells the cheap crappy ones too, along with sutherlands but maybe a dedicated small electrical shop has the good stuff

Hey- there's this place near me called Ace Auto Electric. Shops like this in your area will likely sell those types of connectors.
