Are you insane? The 2nd gen is so much better looking, plus...if you don't like the 2nd gen looks...WHY DID YOU BUY ONE?? Instead of a 1st gen?

The front end is way different on the 2nd gen vs the 1st gen. I know when Squirell had his down for the car show, we had them side by side, and there was structural differences in the front end, and there was slightly more distance from the engine to the radiator.

It shouldn't be impossible, just difficult to do though.

the tib rally cars were converted from the 1st gen body style ot the 2nd gen body style, i'd suggest contacting libra racing.

I just really can't see how they went from 1st gen to 2nd gen, the change was so drastic in the front and rear it was hard to learn to love... and P.S. I'm sorry this subject got way of course...

OK back to to the point, as Rudy has stated libra racing took a 1st gen Tib and put a 2nd gen front end on.

The parts you most likely will need is as follows:

Hood: $300+
Fenders $180+/ea
Headlights: $302/ea
Bumper: $280+
New Radiator Support Mount: $380+
Corner lights: $70
Welding and Body Work: $40/hr

Good luck. I know these prices are close, cause I have been in to front end accidents and have had my car rebuilt twice now. Um yeah also, you would better spend that nice $2000 on a Cuda C1 kit!

Also don't forget the $300 in little brackets and ****. You need brackets for the hood, fenderwells, um bumper, raditor support mount. Gotta get all that stuff stripped off the car, cut basically the front end off of you car, about from where the wheels are to the front gets cut off. Then you have to get the new parts and support mount and have it rewelded on there. This job is very very costly. I think my one accident was about $1600 in labor alone.

Then you gotta think about painting, I forgot to mention that. That will be like $1,500.

So if you got that kind of money go ahead, but I think after you look at the cost you might decide to change you mind.

The fenders should be the same. They changed the basic design of the corners, but retained the same shape into the fender.

You'll have to replace the hood, the light assemblies, the entire front fascia, and I do know that the structure that the radiator and front fascia mount to on the 2nd gen is different than that of the 1st gen.

Personally I like the 2nd gen better.
As far as what looks better it is a matter of opinion. Too bad my opinion is the only one that counts.

Seriously, sell the 2nd gen and go buy a 1st gen. You will save a ton of money and could then put that into mods.

Lets do the math.
Save about $3gs(est) from all parts and labor.
make atleast $3gs(est) from the trade.

You now have atleast $6gs to fix the car up.
