On the hve website they have the first elantras as the lantra J1 and the 97-98 as the lantra J2 what about the 99-00 isnt that known as the lantra RD why has hve website left out this model of elantra they even have the 01 elantra's but not the 99-00.

It look like they just combined the 96-00. The only difference is cosmetic. They don't offer a kit for the 99-00. In the j2 section it says the kit only fits up to 99(00 for us). All other parts fit.
