QUESTION FOR Accent people

I have a customer that has an intake that says the car is running worse and not making any power. Does anyone who has a KORE intake or similar intake have same problem or has had a similar problem. We have sold several and no one has complained. He has supposively checked all sensors,etc.... We dynoed the 97 and it gavea gain of 4 hp. I didnt see torque fall off in any drastic manner. I just want to know cause beside the fact we have not been selling lately due to my health, no one has companied that they didnt feel a positive difference. Please let me know.. Even home built CAI people.... We used 2.5" tubing...

dan i forgot to tell you about that, if thats the guy im thinking of. i believe its his injectors or his fuel pump, but he insists its the intake. as you know i havn't had any problems with mine, and i have the prototype. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/approve.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

heh, ive got a 3" intake, nothign but a power gain

I haven't had any problems with my intake. Granted, its not KORE's, its a modified civic short intake, but i see/hear nothing put power.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

i have an intake i dont know what kind lantra put it in but i do know that after i got it put in i raced a ricer and won for the first time<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Dan I don't have anything yet cause I am waiting to do the swap, but you know as well as I know that there has got to be something else wrong with his car. That is probably why you posted on here to start with. If he still insists that it is the intake then take tell him to uninstall it and se if that helps. It won't.

The only other thing it could be if it has anything to do with the intake is if the filter is dirty but if he just put it on we can rule that out.

I either agree with Rudy on this one or go with it being a faulty sensor. Maybe he damaged his MAS when he installed the intake. I dunno.
