I recently purchased the AbTronic and I must say I am very imporessed with its performance. Within 4 days and I can actually see a difference, more importantly, I feel more energetic.

Can you please let me know what you position is regarding this product?

These type electrical devices have been used for many decades! They are finally making it into the hands of the public. The Russians used this type of stim in their athletes to make them compete better. That's why it's called "Russian Stim", Bruce Lee used it to get him back into shape after suffering a life threatening injury.

True "Russian Stim" will build muscle tone, mass, and burn fat as well.

What I don't like about this type of electric stim is that it is located over the abdomen, in particular the organs of the abdomen. I don't use electric stim over the abdomen in my clinic, because of the organs located underneath.

Here's some contraindications for using this over the abdomen, in women.
-over the pelvic organs during menstration
-during pregancy

The manufacturer may have already taken this into consideration when designing it.

Don't use the AbTronic around someone with a pacemaker!!! This electrical current interferes with the pulses given off by the pacemaker and may cause them to die.

Hope this answers your question!

Thank you, Doc.
I have been given careful instructions on how, where and when to use it. It has different programs to use and it also teaches me step by step how to follow them. I am very excited over purchasing such product and with a healthy eating, I am sure that I can achieve good results.

When I say healthy eating, I mean eliminate junk food, however, I am not able to eat breakfast, and I know this is one of the most important meals of the day.

Would that affect the results?

It shouldn't.

Keep up the good work and it will all be worth it. You'll feel and see the difference and in the long run live longer!

It's not that I can't, it's if I do, my stomach will feel all heavy and I will feel sick the entire day.

Try eating something light, like toast with butter on it.

I try, it just seems to not make a difference. Although, I know that I have to start eating at least something very light in the morning, the only thing that my stomach ca bare is a bagel. Plain bagel, not toasted, no butter, no cream cheese, no NOTHING. That seems to be okay.

But then I end up eating 4 times a day... and that's not good.

Ouch. I have to eat something or I feel sick in the morning. Yesterday morning, I ate 3 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of toast and washed it down with a glass of eggnog! For lunch, a cheeseburger with fries at work. Dinner I had penne with vodka sauce. Yum yum. A real low fat diet. j/k I don't know. I can eat whatever I want and stay a good weight. 6'1" tall. 170lbs. I don't eat like that all the time. But I dont count calories or crap like that. But if I dont eat breakfast, I get bad stomach aches.

I'm drooling here you bastard, I love bacon & eggs. I'm going for lunch in 10 minutes. Maybe I'll find an all day breakfast place around here.<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Gotta eat in the morning, though at 5:30 it's a little tough making something that doesn't wake the household.

LOL and if you buy the package, you get a bottle of gel, ABSOLUTELY free!...

Yeah, didn't you know they pay me to advertise? LOL <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks, after a week and 2 days, I can see a tiny difference and I am so happy about it. I guess it's hard to loose a lot of weigth if you really don't need to. I am 5'6" and 124 lbs, I want to be around 116lbs...

Although, I have to start dieting a little bit, eating lots of mayo doesn't really help... <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

But anyways, if it works for real, I will let you know, be sure about that. LOL

actually silky, did u know it was actually better to eat more frequently but less at a time? The energy curve remains constant, and so does your metabolism rate. which is a really good thing if u want to lose weight. right doc?? gotta love college bio!! hehehe

Well, I don't really have time to eat, or better say, I don't feel like eating all the time...

I guess I have to start changing that soon.
BTW, my stomach still hurts.

If you want to lose weight, those electric things are not the way to do it.

If anything, you should gain weight using one. They are designed to build muscle, and muscle weighs twice as much as fat.

If you want to lose weight, there are no "quick-fixes", start doing some cardio. Running, biking, eliptical, stairs, whatever. Anything that gets you to sweat. Keep your pulse reasonable, ie. 130-150, and do it for 40 minutes per day, at least 3 times per week. You will lose weight, and it will be fat loss.
