Hi i'm a new member here God i love my Accent and I want her to have a little bit more power until next spring (2.0liter swap)

Ok, here it is: I've already add a CAI( hood scoop) And a tibby TB. I also got a 2" exhaust system with a sport muffler. There is my problem; My mufller is a 2.5" but not exactly strait pip.

What should i do, Put a better Muffler(strait pip) or change the MAF sensor for a tibby one. Since i already have the tibby TB

I realy dont not what the MAF will change but someone recommend me to do it.

Thanks everyone

P.S: Sorry for my english i'm a french canadien but a true Hyundai lover

Hi Steve.

I'd like to formally welcome you to the forums. Its good to see that you really love your Accent. Most of us do.

Nice to see more Canadians on the board also. There are a few of us here.

From the looks of it, you've done some nice performance mods on your car and sounds like you're on a good road to more performance.

There are a few people on the board who have done the 2.0L swap so they would have more information about that if you needed it and I'm sure someone who knows more about the exhaust stuff the me will help you out.

Don't worry about your english... it looks/sounds alright. hehe

Once again... A warm welcome to you and hope you can find what you're looking for here.

Happy Tunning.

I doubt upsizing your MAF or doing a different muffler will make much difference right now. Since it's only temporary till you get your new engine, you might not want to do too much. You might look into purchasing either a header or boring your intake manifold.

One of those would be my next step.
