Ok i might be ordering the alpine supercharger within the next 2 weeks ut first.....will i absolutely have to change the engine mounts? so it will be lower??? aren't the tib and elantra hood different?? would it work without changing the mounts.........if not is there and aftermarket hood that sits higher so i wouldn't have to change the mounts.....

Thanks,

You don't change the engine mounts. The engine/supercharger sit lower in the engine bay due to the way the supercharger mounts in. It lowers the engine because of the way it needs to be installed. A higher hood would not help.

It fits in Yamaneko's Elantra just fine. Just watch the fuel pressure. Yamaneko keeps blowing the fuel lines off their connectors. He's double clamping them now, so hopefully that will solve the problem.
