you had gotten the alpine turbo for your tib correct? it's been a while since I (think I) read that...what's your feeling about the turbo at this point?

for the Price ($1900), it is a cheap turbo add on. You get what you pay for. Expect to pay another $1200 to $2000 for install and tuning. Don't expect the numbers that Alpine put up, expect something between 170 and 190 at the wheels.

You will need some parts that are not included in the Alpine kit, so that is what drives the install cost up so high.

If you want over 250 HP to the wheels...go with a custom built turbo setup. If you want to add some Hp to your Car and not INSANE hp...than it is a decent way to go.

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.

I'm working with Ballistics Racing from South Africa to possibly import their kit which uses a T3/T4 hybrid turbo rather than the TD04.

I'll keep everybody updated.
