Hi guys. I've been on other forums for years but got a 99 tiburon and have to change the tranny not the clutch. Getting it off with the trick of removing the clutch lever is great but nothing is wrong with the T.O.B. Can it be possible to reinstall it opposite of how it was taken off or do I have any other options?

Old thread but... I have reused throw out bearings. The trick is picking the retaining clip out of the locator groove a bit at a time to release it. If you are removing a gearbox from a Hyundai with the pull type clutch, you are almost doomed if you can't release the TOB to reinstall the gearbox. It turns it into a 2 man job and requires a ton of patience and muscle to get the clutch fork back into the TOB locator slots.
