When I go under "part Online" in Hyundai's website, it gives me the option for both drum and disk brake parts. Do you think it'll be okay to buy the disk brake parts and swap them with my drum brakes? Do I need to modify my axels?

Yes, the common perception on switching drum brakes are that it is quite expensive. But I've been doing some studying on this matter and it seems like I don't have to change the axle(I could be totally wrong on this). May be it's possible to just switch the brake components, such as, rotars, calipers,etc. Of course, I do understand that a caliper set alone cost $250 each.
