I've taken my rear seats out numerous times, it's not that hard.
the upper half comes out first with two bolts each side ( 4 total ), you may have to lift out the trunk carpet a bit to see them.
The lower half has the same number of bolts (I think?), plus there's two taps at the front of the lower half that has to be pulled just enough to release them.
You know you've released the taps when you're able to lift up on the seat.
It scared me how little was holding the rear seat in place when I had a child seat bolted in with just the seatbelt back there...
