Good God is it hard to get to those speakers! I wanted to know how youtake off that little side bolster pad in the rear passenger compartment by the doors. I dropped a screw down there.I guess I have to take off the speaker bracket and install the speaker in the car with it already on the bracket?I bought some infity speakers because those rear ones sounds bad. I guess also how do you take off the door panels since I'll more than likely switch those out too.

Good questions I have pryed up all the plastic to look at the little icky speakers in the rear of my GT. The fronst sound so good how could they put such crap in back. Oh well. Let me know which infinitys you put in back and how both the door and rear installs go. I am still trying to figure out how to get 4 gauge wire through the firewall.

kinda sad how I reply to my own postsanyways, I had a pioneer deh-p6400 installed. It looks cool with the little graphics. I am doing the rear speakers tomorrow and the fronts probably next months. I am afraid to break something. The car is way too new to be causing squeaks, rattles and such. Would it be worth my cash to get dynamat on the doors?

Since you are taking the doors apart I would say yeah, I have a two door package waiting for when I have to replace mine. dreading having to tear down doors though. You can get a decent deal on dynamat on the net or ebay. It will help reduce any squeeks caused by tear apart as well as make any speaker sound better.

what are the actual sizes of the front and rears on the GT's?. I dont have the Infinity system in mine but would like to upgrade them next month when ever it gets warmer out.

BlackElantraGT: hey let us know if you find a spot to run some 4 gauge wire for my subs. It sucks having a hot car and no good beats to go with it I gotta get a new alram installed on Tuesday and when they have the under hood flashings all off im gonna ask them to see if they can find a hole in the firewall. Some jacka$$ keyed my car and I havent even had the thing for 2 weeks and im just like F*CK IT!! anyone comes near the car better have a good reason But if anyone find a spot or if I find one ill let everyone know.

thanks for the help

The Infitys I installed were 6 1/4" and let me tell you they sound CLEAR. The only drawback I guess is that I seem to have lost some "thump." I guess I'll have to install a woofer.
