Let me help clarify something. The 2001 Elantra is the exact same in evry way and part as the 2002. The car came out as a 2001.5. Under some US law the have to be designated either a 2001 or 2002 no 2001.5 option. When a certain production date was met. They had to be designated 2002. Most Came out as 2002's , a smaller number came out as 2001.'s But many from each group are really 2001.5. Anyhow the all the parts for a 2001 Elantra Gt will fit the 2002 Elantra Gt. I hope this helps clarify any questions regarding what parts fit.
