Can someone please help me? I really, really wanna get some rims and I have been looking on ebay and all these other sites to look for some, but i am having trouble with the following things:
1) don't know what size, lug number etc
2) don't know if i should get 16's or 17's - what does everyone else have?
3) don't know which ones are the best looking :)

any help would be appreciated!

Go to www.tires.com they have some nice ones..... dont get crome ....get 16's youll need to lower your car and probably get a wheel allinment... at tires.com you select your make.model, and year. other wise im sure there are places in your towm like discount tires or sears that have nice rims.. If you get rims youll also need to lower yer ride. hope this was usefull

I have 15 by 7's they are Z racing with quiet a number of spokes....Alloy is good if your going turbo if you want crome then get a 300 dollar alarm cuz they r more expensive and more people want to rip them off. Remember the bigger your rim is the harder you engine has to work to turn them.. Get some low profile tires.... if you going with 15 ichs youll get 50R series tires. if your going with 16s youll get 45 series. and 17s you go with 40s.... remember the bigger the rim the higher your car gets. they only make springs that are only a 1.75 lowering...So get 15s or 16s.... When you buy tires.. Get Yokahama or nitto performance. I have kally R tires they dont sell em at that site but there 120 each. it depends.....do you wanna be all go? or all show?

Chrome, ack!

Whatever size rims you end up getting (16s, 17s, 18s) make sure they are no wider than 7.5" and the tires you select are no wider than 215s. As for the bolt pattern, you'll need to find a rim with a pattern of 4x114.3.

I'd recommend taking a trip down to your local Discount Tire. There you can look through their catalogs of rims, and they'll even fit different sizes onto your car so you can see how it looks.

Well I did it so I could have better handling.... even when i put 15s on my ride it went WAY UP... when you raise your car you increase your rolling rate lowering your car ( to a certain extent ...not the ricer way ) increases the center point of gravity allowing your car to handle turns better..so i recommend lowering it after you put after market rims....it makes the car look nicer too

I don't like chrome either. As far as what looks best, that's in your opinion, so you get what you think looks good. It's your ride! I personally like the look of 17's and then get some good performance tires. That's up to you too though on what you like. As long as they fit, don't rub, and u like them!! Let us know what you decide on! You can also post pics of different ones that you like and get opinions. Others have done that and it helped them to decide on which ones to get.

I'm thinking about getting mine lowered, but I don't want the ride quality to suffer at all. I just want it clean looking..so many choices.

NO I'd never cut the springs. That's bad IMO. I want to get some wheels but the thing is, I want to do some performance mods and other appearance mods before I get them. I don't want to lower it before I get them either because I don't know what I'll be getting.

ok i'll tell ya what i did... I did my wheels/rims and lowering first off because its easy. I got my window tint next. then i did all my engine mods. Do the easy stuff first that way you get it all out of yer way. I didnt pay much fer my rims and tires . my tires were more than my rims. the rims were like 100 bucks each while the tires were 120 each. but i needed good tires.

I think some of the lightest and nice looking rims come from VOLK racing and OZ. Lowering your car is good, you get a lower center of gravity, it eliminates fender gap and makes the car look nicer. Also it helps to get strut bars when you do lower it. It keeps the body from flexing and helps handling. They're pretty inexpensive considering what they do for you.
