2 Saturns in less than 24 hours:

Both of them at a light, both of the with a stick. I got the look and pulled away from them like they were standing still.

I don't consider any stock Accent to be THAT fast, but it was almost comical...

What kinda accent do you drive? I haev a 1.6 DOHC and there is one kinda saturn that is just as fast as i am untill 3rd gear.. then they crap out.. i think thats the SL2 but im not sure.

a guy I work with has a saturn sc1 with only exhaust and I keep up with him untill we hit about 65-70 mph. I caught him on way to work at 4am with NOBODY around at a red light and got the jump on him and was ahead untill we had to make a turn (2 blocks later)and his car held the road better so I let him go by me. I thought they would be faster...

The single cam saturns blow nuts. The twin cam saturns will hand you your ass. They have more HP and are light as fu*k since they're plastic.

I know my 1.6L accent is slower than a '92 sl2, i have the timeslip to prove it.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

My sister has a newer sl something, dohc. CAI and the lux package. (Leather seats, moon roof) Its a standard. My friend and I took it out one night and had to resort to racing mini vans. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> Tupperware apparently cant move to fast. I thought it was my driving, so I let my friend drive, and he couldnt do any better.

what exactlly did the tib that ran slower than u have done to it? What mods do did you have and do you have the slips to show that 16.2? Just curious because haven't been taken out by a Saturn yet (NOT saying i can't or won't).. have had two or three of them jump off the line with me nose to nose.. gain a lil in second and then lose the race in 3rd.

ha ha thats pretty funny star.... yeah the guy I raced knows how do drive, in fact we are both old enough to be your daddy! (who knows maybe I am) and both have more years driving than youve been alive! anyways, this is not the flame forum. Only stating that a certain car with certain driver on specific day, etc etc. Dont take it so bad that some think your model of car sucks. Some think my car sucks too. I've raced twincam SC2's w/ modsin the Civic, they are not slow by any means. If I pulled a 16.1, those SC2's have to be capable of at LEAST high 15's modded.. an SC1 may be in Accent territory, but certainly not an SC2 with a half breathing driver.
