Yes there is a 9sec accent in Peurto Rico that runs 9 sec in the 1/4 mile. I do not know of a web addy that tells about the car just one that shows the pic of it. I will try to locate it for you.

The engine it runs is not the stock accent 1.5ltr it is the 1.5ltr out of the turbo scoupe. This is anoter possibility for a swap but I would still run the beta. The beta is a stronger motor and you can produce more hp with it after boost. Also realize that the 9sec accent is not street legal and it would take gobs of money to get any car into the 9's<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

ok, just on another side-note. I have seen the car in person. It WAS and insane car. If I remember correctly it is using a 1.5L engine too. However, if no one knows, this car sort of blew-up last season. I think it crashed really bad and was totaled.

Third-more, the boys down in Purerto Rico haven't given up with the Hyundais, and we should be seeing some more surprises in the near future<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
