does anyone know of a quick and easy way of making my dull and dirty headlamps shine like new again? i don't want to buy new ones.

How many miles you got? or how old is it? Warranty covers them 5 years/60,000 miles

There are some polishes out there that claim to clean the plastic back up. Check your local parts shop..

Mothers aluminum rim polish works very well with a buffer..

No. 7 Dupont compound and a low speed buffer worked well on mine. After you use the compound use a good hard wax on them and the bugs will just wash off in the future. It took me about 5 mins each and looks almost new.

Thanks guys! If i get the Mothers Powerball from Autobarn what type of polish or wax can i use for the plastic lenses.

oh ****, i've been forgetting to ask the same question!

what you want is something that removes oxidation. that dull yellow film you're seeing is on the outside of the plastic, and it's from the sun.

i've gotta pick myself up some of this as well!
