i really dont know which one to chose..most people say go for a cold air..but i dont want to go through the troulbe of having to worry about it when it rains...

And the complaint i hear on the short Air since its a Weapon-r people say its crap and parts of the intake Foam break off and mess up your engine...

Can anyone tell me the pro's and cons of each? and recomdations would help tons ! thanks<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

I know people say alot of bad things about weapon-r intakes but I have never had a problem with mine. I run it with the ram air set-up and it works great.I used to have a AOS cai but the damm thing fell off and got sucked under my car and there was nothing left of it after that. But I still say with my weapon-r I feel more of a differance than I did with the last peice of crap I had.

cold air generates more power.

your choice. you worried about hydrolock, get an AEM. You're all set. have fun!

Wepon R = Crap
AOS = Crap

Go with the KORE CAI. The problem you think you may have when it rains is called Hydrolock. You do not need to worry about it unless you compleately submerge your filter in water. If you are still worried about this happening then you can add an AEM bypass valve to it. This will give your engine an alternate way to get air if your filter is ever submerged in water.

people on this board must be making money off of kore or something like that. No people around here do not make any money off the KORE CAI or any other KORE products. We have all just been around Hyundais and Hyundai tuning for quite some time now and we KNOW which products and brands have given people the best results and the least problems.

Umm i had a Tib and loved it.
I wanted an Accent to turn into a project car.
If you want to know what I know....
I know that I am planning on dropping a Tib motor in the Accent and it after mods it will whoop your Tib.

But I am not a Hyundai hater. I like all Hyundais. I just hate morons like you who talk out of their ass and do not know ****.

Talk **** about Accents. Give me a few months and me and Kirk will both kick your asses in a race!

Also, I know of a particular supercharged Accent that will kick your ass in a race (it's doing about 270hp to the ground) and another N/A Accent doing about 200hp to the ground.

Now shut up.
