does the short ram actually cause your engine to run lean? What can be done to compensate (other than remapping the ecu).

If the engine runs lean, would you guys still suggest a sri versus nothing.

no.

It is a sensor that measures the amount of air entering the engine, anything that would increase the mass of air entering the engine would be compensated for until the sensor has reached its limits on what it can measure.

Your car will compensate for it.

The sensor to watch in the intake system is the temperature sensor. As long as the sensor is measuring the same air as the maf your straight.

thanks, Coal_forge. So what checks/tests can I run to be sure that the temperature sensor is measuring the same air as the maf?
