short shifter

What makes a short shifter a short shifter is not just the distance from the top to the pivot but the pivot to the bottom. Just cutting the top down will only make it look like a short shifter but not realy give you quicker gear changes. It may even actually make it a lil tougher to shift into gears.

If it is that easy then why don't you just grab the shifter a lil bit lower?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/uhh.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

If you realy want to improve shifting times you will need to purchase a short shifter. If you just want it to look like you have a short shifter then cut your stock one.
