Alright every1

On my accent '97, to the side of the steering column, where you can change the contrast of your dials etc. Above that panel is a socket/ plug, type thing.
It's a **** explanation, I know. But what's it for?

Cheers

Well, it could be useful if you had one of those machines. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

That is the port for OBD II. Not only does it allow the dealer to run diagnostics it also allows them to change minor settings in the ECU. If you can get a OBD II Diagnostics computer you too can do this.
