WE GOT IT
me and rbuecker have been working hard to get you a standalone solution with MS
we got it working with the stock Crank Trigger Wheel and sensor

Actually t4turbotib has done it. You could order the the megasquirt setup for a dual waste spark setup and whatever type of trigger (rub should know that one) and be good to go...
from what i was told t4turbotib does not have it running yet, i talked to him about it and he told me he don't have it running right yet

Dunno, I spoke with him yesterday about it. He said hes had it going for about 2 weeks now but just messed it up when he tried upgrading a hall sensor or something. The unit should be the same for most all hyundais right... They use the same trigger/spark setup do they not?
crank is not a hall sensor
anywho car runs tonight, and runs well it does, very very disgustingly well.
[email protected]$$ did not hook up the wire for the FUEL PUMP RELAY
wasting all this time because of that. once we jumped the relay to test and cranked it, started right up.
tuning fuel and spark tomorrow, no more hyundai ecm for me. 500cc injectors coming soon to a hyundai accent near you!

What version of megasquirt will run our cars fuel and spark? I'm buying one I just need to know what works with our vr sensor and coilpacks? Where would you suggest to buy one from on the internet ? I was thinking of

i ordered my kit from diyautotune.com, they gave me a tracking number within 10 minutes of ordering, it was absolutely amazing. i think it came to 207$ shipped, including the additional vb921. it's the megasquirt 1 with v3 board that we put together. good luck!Originally posted by rngmstr33

ms1 only comes with 1 and we have 2 coils

MS2 won't work with your stock ignition stuff
you can't use 2 vb921 on MS 2 yet maybe soon but not yet
you should of ordered a MS I v3.0

I thought for sure you could ,until I read your post and did some more research. I can still order the MS1 processor and switch the MSII processor out and back to the MS1 without any wire changes can't I ? Because that will only cost me about 18 dollars from DIYautotune.com
