is using that Space Invader Expanding Foam any good for preventing rattles and sound proofing cars? i think its okay as it expands and seals hard and waterproof.

i am thinking of this used inconjunction with a spray on tar/bitumen sealer. sealer first then foam.

would this work?

I have seen expanding foam used as a sound detenter, just be careful that when you spray it you do not put too much in a certain area or it will expand and dent the surrounding panel(s)
