I was wondering how many speakers my Fiance's Elantra GT has.. I haven't really had time to look it over all to well. But Im intrested in swaping out the factory speakers, and does anyone know what kind of wattage the stock CD head unit is putting out?

GT has 6-speaker setup. I think stock CD player is 25x4 watt PMPO (not RMS), but I am not sure.

I actually replaced the speakers in my elantra. The stereo is 25X4 and the speakers are 6.5" I replaced them with 6.5" Alpine speakers and you can hear the difference! The Factory speakers gave a little more base until I replaced the Head unit with a Pioneer DEH-P7200. This stereo is awesome. I also put a 10" Sub, with it's own box and also a 300 watt amp. The the speakers are 6.5".
