I recently changed my original A/C belt and waterpump/alternator belt and the squeeling noise is driving me crazy!
I dont have power steering!
I have tried belt dressing spray,wd40,tyre spray all with no long term, lasting effect. after 50 kms the noise is back with a vengance. The belts are all correctly tensioned!
I have a friend with 3 accents and he says i better get used to that noise because they all do it!:??:
Any Ideas Please????

readjust your belts
with manual adjustment depending on when you had the belts replaced they have most likely stretched which is causing your squeeling
just adjust one and see if makes a difference, if not you know which belt was squeeling
it happens all the time at my shop

After making sure the belts are correctly tensioned, make sure the belts are the correct width. Did you use oem belts?

I have never heard of are Accents having this problem.
