i noticed that someone had a supra intercooler stuck on their hyundai. is it possible to pirate a whole turbo off another car and plumb it to my tib?

it looks like i'm wearing pants... but i'm not!

Okay....ANY turbo or intercooler will fit your Tib. The only thing you have to get made or fabricated to fit, are all the piping, the turbo manifold, and you will have to do the various other upgrades. (I.e. fuel system, ECU, BOV, wastegate, etc, etc, etc) You best bet is to buy a complete kit that's made for Tibs, such as the Alpine kit. It comes with just about everything you need.

I seriously doubt anyone has a supra intercooler. Those puppies have 3" openings and a fairly big pressure drop accross the intercooler. They would be less than ideal for the small turbocharger that the beta motor would need.

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.
