I just installed my new Blaupunkt head unit and I purchased the Thummer as they call it, steering wheel remote.

The picture below isn't all that great but let me tell you, it fits like a glove! Works great too!

that looks pretty sweet! Wow, it does fit in there nicely. Was that a "made to fit tiburon" or did you just luck out and get that to fit so well?

ok so I have a question then. Does that remote only work with the head unit that you have? For example, would it work if you had a cd changer or just your stock head unit? HINT: would it work for me? If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? I like it

No, won't work with OEM stuff but there are lot's of Blaupunkt head units that it does work with.

It was $70.00 from Crutchfield.

I think there is a catch, not sure... but I think you have to use either the remote or a CD changer, not both.

I have no plans for a CD changer so it was no problem for me...

The head unit I picked up is the Neveda for $139.00, retail (like who pays that!) was $299.00 or something.

It's awesome, got pre-amp outputs, detachable face, lots of features especially with the $139.00 price tag.

Note to self: Enough already, its not like I get commission - LOL!

I don't have OEM audio, but this is from the Sante Fe, maybe it will work in other Hyundais

That is very very cool Greg. I would love something like that.

But that last picture of the ones for the Santa Fe, I have those things but they are for cruise control. I don't think I could fit another pair in there plus it would look a bit cluttered.
