ok superchargers are belt driven right and because of such doesn't that mean that they will take a little bite outta the power that they are making? if so, couldn't you compensate for this power bite by slapping on a lighter underdriven crank pulley? say maybe an unorthodox pulley?
just wondering ... and please don't respond with a lecture on possible side effects of using an underdrive pulley! <img src=/images/forums/snitz/tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

thanks

Nope. If you under drive off the crank pulley, you are under-driving the superchager.

The lighter weight of an underdrive pulley would help some, but the 10% decrease in crank pulley diameter would hurt the supercharger by 10%, and you don't see a 10% HP gain with an underdrive pulley..

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.
