ok so i am looking at a subwoofer that is dual voice coil and has a 2 ohm rating

i am looking at a 1 ohm stable 1000 watt rms amp

if i run one positive and negative to the sub from the amp can i then run another set from voice coil to voice coil? would that produce a 1 ohm pull from the amp or would it still be in 2 ohm? cause of the additional voice coil

or should a run dual wires from the amp to each voice coil individually, and would that give me the 1 ohm rating i need?

Postive voice coil 1 to positive voice coil 2
- from voice coil 2 positive to amp positive

Negative voice coil 2 to negative voice coil 1
- from voice coil 1 (oppositve voice coil of positives) negative to amp negative

will give you a 1-ohm load at the amp
