Does beta crankshaft suits on alpha?

Maybe i've mistake in crankshaft? i mean this part in eng. under pistons and rods. i'm not sure how its in eng. in russian it is коленчатый вал.

I would imagine that it would not. you do have the DOHC, as a BETA would have. However the size of the crankshaft shouldn't match up. the beta is longer than the alpha's if i remember correctly. this would mean that the counter weights on the shaft would not line up correctly. am I incorrect?

i'm not sure but i think that bettas not longer. beta's 2l take from piston diameter and rods tall and i dont know how it is in Engl... crank upper dead point and lower dp. about counter weights i dont care. if i will swap crank also i'll change rods and pistons for custom make.

meybe really any1 knows anything about crank parameters?

Beta engine block is longer then the Alpha block.
