I have a '93 scoupe turbo and I want to put a Garrett T3 turbo on it but I am having a hard time locating a turbo manifold to fit the 1.5L motor to convert to the T3. If anyone has any help please let me know.

Forget the T3 - they are old school.. too large, too much internal inertia and poor blade design, and just inefficient.

Your best bet would be to try a T28 Ball Bearing turbo. They bolt straight up to the S-Coupe's exhaust manifold (as will any T2, T23, T25, T28 turbo) saving that hassle. Having a ball bearing core, they spool up in next to no time, and you will be more than pleased with the results.

New one will cost around A$2,000, however you should be able to pick one up off a Nissan 200SX for around A$500-800.

Cheers

hey Bretton are you 100% sure the 200SX use the GT25? I was under the impression that Garrett were only supplying the GT series turbos aftermarket. Manufacturers usually use the run-of-the-mill non-BB centre T25 which is still a POS.

There are many different versions of the GT25 as well. For the Scoupe, you would want the 250HP version. Spool will be close to what it is now but with much more on tap. You dont need an intercooler if you plan on staying below 12psi and have decent engine management.
