I was just wondering what way I should start modifying my engine. I want to get Cams, Big bore throttle body and then 4-1 Headers. How much would that help me? Would replacing the injectors and getting a fuel regulator help?

Get the throttle body and bored intake manifold at the same time, one without the other doesn't do much. Same thing with the headers, you should get larger exhaust piping and aftermarket muffler. For starters...$159 for an Apex'i Dunk muffler at wholesalehyperformance.com and modacar.com.

maybe also get 4-2-1 headers for increase throughout the whole RPM band. If you look at clearance on HVE motorsports they have 4-2-1 header on sale for hella cheap.... but i think there is only 2 for the J2 soo better e-mail um and tell um if ya want um

isn't the j2 only 96-98 the rd lantra is 99-00

The 99-00 Elantra has the same engine, exept for the 2 litre option, which is the Tibby engine, so in most cases, parts would fit.
