I want to paint my dash, but when i bought my car, i noticed that the driver side doors trim doesnt line up right with the dash(where everything wraps around, my doors trim is higher than the dash). I want to do the painting, but how much will it stand out & make it even more noticable that its off.

Or will the dealer fix this problem for me???....the car is only 3 weeks old

i panted my dash blue, semi gloss by an air brush and only one coat, because if you have alot of coats it will peel away. another thing to keep in mind is if you armoral the dash the paint wont come up right and it will bleed. soo make sure you sand away the armoral or find some oil cleaner to get rid of it. but tons of people here have panted the dash before soo just keep askin if i didnt help you. and one more thing.... i am not too sure about the door- to - dash thing but my door is not right on either but it still looks cool. just go to your dealer and ask them if something is wrong and if it is they will fix it and fit it for free... that is the beauty of a bumber to bumber warranty. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/finger.gif width=33 height=15 border=0>
