actually your biggest problem would be finding all of these s-coupe turbo parts.. trust me...it would be easier and more cost effective to swap out for the 4g63..the turbo s-coupe only puts out 105hp all that money for 13hp is backwards...4g63 turbo is 220hp you do the math...and for the price of someone changing your cams and pistons,among other things some one could stuff that 4g63 motor in there...i'm not sure about the mitsu non turbo but it's in the area of 130-150hp

you dont have to go AWD,you can get the gs tranny..i've been lucky to have everything fall into my lap..right now there is alot of 4g63 motors 4-sale..the whole car that is..
not too many turbos but i have found those motors complete in junk yards..and super scoupe your right i've only seen 1 turbo scoupe in my life..every one does have a honda..i want a fast hyundai..and i also like the way my scoupe looks..all the time i
hear why am i going through so much trouble
for my hyundai...they just dont understand!
but to be specific i found a place on the net
that has the turbo/eclipse,galant 1990-92 1997cc 4g63 2.0L f.i. 16valve DOHC 4cyl completely machined and assembled with over-size pistons,rings,matching crank kit,connecting rods,camshafts,complete cylinder head,all timing components and oil pump for $2436.00...i also found in my area
a person selling a gs 5spd with a blown head
for $300.00 for the tranny,suspension and just about anything needed for the
conversion..after that the only thing needed is the wire harness and ecu about $500.00
sure its alot of money and most people wont go that far but then again,most people wont beat my hyundai either...

ohh your fron canada. i know all the eclipse,talon,and lazers have the main motor mount on the driver side.My s-coupe is also on the driver side.remember when you talk to that guy that might let you look at the motor you need the 2WD tranny

i finally got what i need to do the conversion..well almost,i still need a tranny,and about 1500.00 dollars to pay the mechanic.but for yall who think it cant be done it can.I just met someone who has a s-coupe with the 4g63t motor with over 500hp on the dyno,it wont be long till i beat his ass..so i'll keep checking in to let yall know how it's going..i wish i could post some pic,s of the motors side by side but my camera is broke.p.s. i'm going for 600hp without NOS then i'm adding the NOS<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

new up date...my mechanic has been over,took the measurments,and says there is no problem getting the 4g63t into my 1992 s-coupe.the next thing is he asked if i want it fwd or
awd.mmmm? dont know.the people in my car club say go for it.i say go for it cause i want the car for the drag strip/quarter mile
awd will make it quicker off the line but it makes the car heavier.doesn't it take more power from the engine?is that the power i would have wasted peeling out?I need some opinions from people i dont feel are just trying to slow me down cause my hyundai is about to smack down on their hondaz.<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

thanks for the feed back keep it coming but as par as price the mechanic is charging an extro 700.00 to do the awd conversion.and the eclipse i have is awd.i'm thinking for the price to buy the fwd tranny if it falls anywhere near 700.00 y not?but please more feedback

i'm leaning more towards going awd.it's less trouble atleast i have everything already.i'm just tired of running around looking for parts

man that car is really slow.he'll still get smacked down by a type-r integra.true he can still get more power but he'll be maxing his motor when the integra is just getting started.15.5sec not even close and still no cigar
