hola....
well to top it all off you shouldnt notice more than a 4 or 5 hp gain with either of the BBTB's....as for the cost of installation, you should do it your self....it only takes about 10 mintues to install with basic hand tools and that, as you know is a lot cheaper than having a wrench do it.

You'd also have to port match the intake manifold. I used a drill and a 2" drum sander attachment. Go to Brendan's elantra zone site for install guide. It helps a lot.

As far as I know (I have the Barney) it doesn't give any HP gains, just better throttle response.

If you have the supporting mods, a BBTB can give you significant gains. If you only have I/H/E, you'll see maybe 2-3 HP. If you've got a radical N/A motor or forced induction, you could see as much as 20-25 HP. On my LT1 powered T/A I saw 12 RWHP by going from my stock dual 48mm TB to a dual 52mm TB. I have a K&N filter, MSD ignition, 1.6 rockers, and a Borla 3" cat-back. Gaining 12 RWHP in my T/A is probably equivalent to gaining 3 FWHP in your Accent. I just ordered a Besta BBTB for my Elantra.

It sounds f**king awesome. I've had complete strangers walk up to me in parking lots and ask what kind of exhaust it is. I have the LT1 engine, though. The LS1 with a Borla doesn't sound as good. The LS1 guys usually just get a "cut-out" for $35.00 and pay a muffler shop $25.00 to weld it in. For $60.00 they get 15-20 RWHP.
