You will se some nice gains if you add a new throttle body. I would say yes it is worth it.

It is a fairly easy install.

What other mods do you have done? You'll see the best results if you already have an intake and if you get your intake manifold ported to match the throttle body.

Also when you get a header and exhaust now, you'll see a larger gain.

your throttlebody is the thing attached to the end of the intake manifold. its between the im and your intake.

new fuel pump and larger injectors. you might also want to look into a piggy back system so that you can tune it for optimal performance.

I'm fixing my fuel problem via a TEC II that I just bought. Rudy's right too, a in-line fuel pump with larger injectors will work too. Maybe a fuel pressure regulator on top of that. I'll probably do a fuel pump down the line.
In order to fit the Tib throttlebody you will have to get custom fabrication done to the flange of the Intake manifold.
Here's the math:

Aluminum welded around edge of flange
re-faced
new bolts tapped in
+ smooth out the welds to clean it up
--------------------------------------
= Bling Bling $$$
