Yeah, I replied to your other post. I just noticed that your Accent is a 95. I think for some reason your motor mounts are different than the 96-99 Accents. If this is true, you'll have to custom your mounts which I think Kore or someone is the process of developing them. If not, go to a welding shop and tell them exactly what you need welded. But YES, the swap is very do-able
We are in the process of trying to get them developed with UFB. The mounts to my understanding are the same from 95-99 but the problem that you will run into is that the 95's are OBD1 where 96 and up are OBD2. This will cause you some problems since the Beta motors are OBD2. It can still be done but it will be more work.
I'm getting kinda interested in this Beta motor. I have a '96 Accent 1.5 SOHC right now. I was thinking of just playing with that, but a bigger, better engine would be nice. What years elantra/tiberan is the beta in? (for junkyard salvage) Oh, and kinda off subject, would be worthwhile to put in the effort to convert my SOHC to a DOHC? Thanks.

Uhm...Before you do a Beta swap you might want to learn how to spell Tiburon.
The beta is in all Tiburons and newer Elantras If you are not in a hurry for the engine you can get them through KORE for $1000 (Engine, ECU, and Tranny) That is alot cheaper then anywhere else I have been able to find it. Dan is trying to finish up developing a few products before he takes anymore orders on engines.
if you have a 1.5 dohc 96-99 excell/acent you can quite easily swap the engine 2 litre engine for it. but you will also need the gearbox and ecu for it to work. I have seen this swap done several times in australia and it gets easier everytime.
There are always a few problems but nothing major, if you have the 1.5 single ohc, then you are in another world of ****. you have alot of custom stuff to do.
The engines mounts don't line up and the gearbox bolt patterns are slightly different, but everything is doable.
