I tinted my windows yesterday. They look pretty damn good but the back got all messed up, but I'm gonna redo it in a few days. I'll post pics soon.

The back is the hardest tint to put on.... try starting from the center and extending out to the sides.

Did you buy a pre-cut kit or did you just get a roll of tinting material and do it yourself?

If so, where did you buy the material? The lowest price I've been quoted is $4.50 for about a 20x12 piece. Not bad but always could be better when you have to do a million other thigns to your car ... <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> ...

Because of Utah law I'm going to have to get about three different shades, too!

i have my windows tinted at about 5%, but since i had no idea how to do it, and didnt want to deal with the fuss, i paid for it 140 bucks =) good job too, looks real nice with the black trim, www.djsirreal.com/car

did you get charcoal black or fadeing tint.

i have charcoal black and due to the b.s. law here it's not as dark as i would like but its dark enough where you can see out but not in unless i have my interior neons on <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

tinting laws and neon laws suck

Yeah tell me about laws sucking...I have been calling around and the only tint I can get is 35%...which I guess wouldn't be that bad.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

ppl will put 5% tint on your car, you just have to let them know youre not gonna rat them out to the cops if you get pulled over, the guy that did mine was more than eager to do mine though =P

all i know is that mine is right at the limit cause ive been pulled over for it and its legal just way way way dark<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> the neons under the car law is what really sucks. cops down here think you got neons u got drugs so i just leave mine off unless im in parking lots and stuff like that. besides the girls at the drivethrough windows love them hehe<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

Haha.. I can have 5% in the back, and 25% looks close to 35%, so I use that in the front. Anyway, cops around where I drive don't care about that nonsense, they have other things to worry about.

I have 5% in the back three windows and 15% in the 2 front.
