There isn't anything special that needs to be done to up to a 16" tire, but much bigger and you'll need coil overs or bushings because there is an obstruction just over the tire in the wheel well. At least in my car there is.

16's and 17's will work on the Tibby fine. You have to buy a new set of rims. and choose the right tire size.
example:
16's tire would be like 205/55/16
17's tire would be like 205/45/17

If you want anything bigger than 17's then you will have to do some fender rolling, so that the tires don't rub.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
