It seems to me that almost all of the fastest compacts are running 0-60 in the low 7's and high 6's. That's only 1 second from the Tiburons time. There aren't too many people here with serious mods like S/C or T/C's. What kind of N/A mods could I do to help me get there? Has anyone found a good cam yet for the 2L Tib that doesn't make it run like $hit?

I saw that but I don't want to have to change the ECU and make DRASTIC changes. I'm trying to take a second off my time but still stay under warranty. I'm thinking I could get away with a cam. Hopefully SR will come up with a cam also.
I've heard good things about the HDK cams. As long as you're willing to wait that is .

Never forget that driving ability has plenty to do with your 0-60 time. Practice how and when you shift. Better tires will help without affecting your warranty. Weight reduction will help some. Examples are pulling the back seat, lighter wheels, minimum stereo equip, lighter battery, and so on. All improvements are cumulative. No one mod will pull a second off your time and keep you under warranty. Adding several things together will get you there. Don't forget about suspension mods. A lowered car tends to launch offf the line better and keep traction on the wheels. There is of course the exhaust to change out, intake improvements, btb, bim, blah blah blah.

So, do you think with Cams, Filter, BBTB, Headers and Cat-Back Exhaust I would easily beat the civic SI's and Integras? Maybe with a bored Intake Manifold also?

Just bought it so there are no mods
I must eplore you not to assume you will beat every Honda/Acura in the world based on those mods. There are to many factors to assume that! You WILL be more competitive. you will even take many of them in a race. Building the best machine is only half of the race, especially if your talking N/A set-ups. There is no doubt that many have smoked the high end Honda crowd with those mods but many have been left behind. Good luck!!
