Well, I finally did it! In my backyard, there is a raised concrete pad. I parked the rear wheels on the edge and hit the e-brake. I then continued to let the clutch out and gradually press the accelerator. Presto! It was squealing like a little piggy.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I got my friend(who owns a 2K Sonata GLS 5-spd) to take video of this. Now the problem arises.......how the hell do I get it on to the computer?????!?!?!?!<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Well don't forget:

-The clutch was on its last leg(now its obliterated....sp??)
-The concrete was dry(I should've put down a 50%/50% mix of clorox and water)
-The tires on the front were barely worn down(heh heh.......can't say that now)
and the all time excuse
-The engine is stock.....<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

All in all, I almost(and my friend almost) sh_t a brick. I didn't think it would break loose on the dry stuff. Next time, I think I'll put down some water.<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

As for now, the car sits in the backyard(collecting dust). I am out to find a new clutch disc and pressure plate. It sounded like a mini-turbo when I was attempting to burnout. I guess it just slipped enough to break up.

Damn clutch is in......such a big damn pain in my a$$! Gotta take the tranny off and then line up the unsued clutch when your done.....damn it, I'm gettin someone else to do it next time! I also treated it to a head gasket, an oil change, new plugs and wires, tires....<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_sleepy.gif border=0 align=middle> and I flushed out the radiator and coolant bottle. So, its almost new....still got that old 1/4 tank in there!<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Oh, I took it out on the highway and I was next to a fox-body Mustang. It was the most annoying piece of crap in the world....and it was a 4cyl! I chirped the tires going from the stop and a little into second(I'm hard on the 1st-2nd shift..still no grinding at 68K!). It was some hot chick drving it..... How fast were the convt. 4-cyl fox-bodies? She did drag me and I had her <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> Her friends were also hot....<img src=icon_smile_sleepy.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>
