what tools do you own and which brand would you recommend?...

I've heard Snap-On Tools' price is the only drawback, to an otherwise solid line... I'm probably going to look into Craftsman... but, any feedback would be nice... in addition to a list of tools you find imperative to own...

Craftsman, hands down.

They are expensive, but the lifetime warranty is as close as your nearest SEARS store. Easier than chasing down a Snap-On Truck....

That is true, I think they are wolf brand, but don't quote me on that. In fact, they will trade you straight up for Craftsman tools. Their cost is about the same as and maybe slightly less than a craftsman.

What about the tools from Home Depot they have a lifetime warrenty too. I don't know what they cost but still lifetime warrenty isn't bad.
