I have the T-25 Hybrid back from the shop.
I would like to run 5-7 LBS boost, have all these items on hand:
T-25 Hybrid, Intercooler, Vortek FMU, Exhaust Manifold with Tial wastegate, BOV, getting ready to install and have custom piping done.

To run the 5-7 LBS would it bwe better to get the Injectors and the S-AFC?

Trying to stay at around 200 HP.

Any help is greatly appreciated, Peter

Don't quote me on this but upgrading your injectors will complement what you're doing. AFC will do too. I read in a magazine (SCC or SS) months ago of a street Eclipse GST running almost 400WHP with no other engine management other than an AFC. You have upgraded you fuel pump right?

Peter,
sounds like you and I are doing the same project. I have a T25 and am planning 6 to 8 psi of boost on my 1.8L. I have the following so far:

Manifold and Turbonetics Wastegate
Garrett T25
Eclipse GSX fuel pump
Oil lines, fittings, etc.

Still need to get:
BOV
FPR -- Cartech (BEGI) or Vortech
Piping
Intercooler -- might be buying Red's old one
Misc Fittings
Gauges

I'm running the stock ECU with just the RRFPR and upgraded fuel pump for now. No ignition mods, I'll dial back the boost a bit if I get detonation. I'm also going to install a J brake (trucker's term) to open the internal wastegate manually in an emergency (massive overboost, loud PING, etc).

I planned on doing this all slowly, but I've found too many good deals, so I'm way ahead of schedule and budget. Right now it looks like mid-may or june for the install.

So how are you doing your piping? There aren't any mandrel benders around here, just shops that stock pre-bents and weld them together, polish, etc to make custom pipes. I know how to weld (not great, but good enough for intake piping), so that may save me some money. just curious.

I will also be using stock system, will be doing the injectors and S-AFC during the summer.

The piping is all piping from JCW Muffler shop, using mandrel bends and welding, then powder coat for looks.

Will be also trying stock exhaust manifold to mount turbo for time being. Having another one built custom for me.

I am also looking into a T-3, have one on the way:)

Hope your project goes according to plan, Peter

Check on the DSM Trader for stuff.

So are you welding the Interal Flapper on the T25 shut to use a External WG? Just a question, I started out with a T25(aka T Too Small), But now Iam running a TD05 16g @ 14psi on pump gas with stock Internals.

For that low of boost it should be a good Turbo, but with my experince with it, I had to much wheel spin due to the quick spool of the turbo. But since I put the 16g on it, it gave just the right amount of lag I was looking for to get out of the hole with out too much wheel spin. If I want it to spin I can still lit them up till 3rd with no problem.
