HELLO ALL,
I have a 97 Elantra turbo with intercooler. All was custum fabbed here in P.R..
My questions are as follows:
1. The MAF placement; before the turbo or after the turbo.
2. To how many pounds of boost or horsepower are the stock injectors rated to..cc's. Is it a good idea to upgrade to Tiburon injectors?
3. This link ECU where can I purchase it and type of programming does it require?

The stock injectors are 243cc at 43 psi. or something like that. The tibs injectors are the same, they are good to 180 hp at stock pressure, no more. You'll need a better pump and get RC injectors for sure, Ask randon about the mafs placement. A super AF MIGHT do for ecu needs but Random/red can help more .

If you don't wanna mess with the MAF you can get a VPC(Vein Pressure Converter)...and you lose the restriction that a MAF stands for. The OEM MAF might not withstand a high boost config, and the element in the MAF might be damaged.

if u want to get rid of the mafs then you may think of investing bout 1500 to 3000 in a standalone computer upgrade. i am on my turbo system.

1. MAF placement is theoritically better after the turbo... just before the intake manifold but it will function fine before the turbo.

2. No real rating but with increased fuel pressure and a better fuel pump... 240 or so hp at the engine.

3. You will have to ask UFB about the LINK. My recommendation is to go with the HALTECH or MOTEC stand alone system (although SDS also works... more hassle), switch to MAP sensor and ditch the MAF, Go with larger injectors and ditch the dinky stock injectors.
