I just found out the 2.0 motor has a knock sensor on it. This is normally something found on boosted engines. Anyone know where I can read more on this engine?

I've heard it also has a strong counterweigted crank. It seems like a natural to add some boost to this motor.

Wonder if Hyundai has some future plans.

I'd like to add some boost but don't want to kill my great warranty <img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Other than the higher than average compression ratio are cars were ment for boost. At least the design of the motor allows it to repond better to forced induction than na mods. For more info on this, and because your new here, read and post turbo related questions under "forced induction". BTW welcome!
